GETTING YOUR SKIN TO CARE
Since the year began the sun has drawn closer o the
horizons in Africa thereby causing extreme heat. It
feels as if our artificial coolers like the air conditioners and fans aren't
cutting it at all, which forces some of us to skip our skincare routine
completely; I mean who wants to be applying layers of skincare when they are
literally pouring out waste material from their skin
- When
the humidity rises it causes us to sweat more, which can clog the pores
and cause breakout to occur, it also makes the skin susceptible to host
bacteria's, so washing your face twice a day is crucial.
- Also
don't skip your toner, it serves as an extra guide to making sure that
your skin isn't clogged.
- Make
water your best friend , drink a lot of room temperature water, it helps
stabilize your body temperature internally.
- Add
sheet mask to your routine, make sure to keep it minimal, with your
moisturizer as a support especially water based types.
- Take
a healthy amount of shower, at least twice a day, not neglecting areas where your body creases.
- Humidity, sun exposure combined with climbing temperatures causes oily skin to suffer hyperpigmentation and even sun damage, so skipping your SPF is not allowed, if you feel like re-application might be a hassle , you can opt for the spray type, it works well and you can get away with bacteria contact from reapplication with your palm especially when your out and about during the day.
- Lastly
,exfoliation is an important step to never skip as it keeps dead skin away
from the surface of your skin, as this hangs to sweat and over production
of sebum.
