Let me start by saying a happy new year to you all lovelies, as the new year unfolded a lot us walked into this year with a well structured vision board and the excitement that follows being positive about the things you want to achieve, while the latter might have just seen it as yet another day, maybe still beaten down by the fact that they were unable to accomplish all that they set their mind to do in 2024, whatever may be the case, the year has started and the days would keep running and its pace is solely dependent on nature.

Last year we adapted the theme of flowers, learning how each month can be tied to nature and how we can easily relate to it in our everyday lives. This year we are focusing our lens on birth stones, so if you’re a lover of the finest jewels and precious stones that are found on earth, then I guess you’re as excited as I am to dig deeper into our similarities with it.

In the Middle Ages, people believed that the gemstone could be used to cure the Black plague, prevent arguments, ensure faithfulness, and even warn the wearer of approaching danger by changing colors. The garnet helps us understand the importance of balance, protecting your energy and committing to the task you have set for the year.

Balance – Recalibrating frequencies internally and externally to create a new harmonic that changes the field of possibility; its knowing when to hold on and let go, knowing what we can control and what we cannot ,learning to move through life with great stability, swerving between effort and surrender.

Protect – Having a covering that allows you enjoy your moments of inner peace, energy and your table.  Learning to stop pouring into cups that would never pour back into yours and understanding how to protect your boundaries.

Commit - You are the greatest project you’ll ever work on. Restart! Reset! Refocus! As many times as you need. Just don’t give up. Without commitment you will never start, it transforms a promise into a reality, while I know the price might be high but best believe that the rewards are even higher.

In conclusion, we might literally be unable to afford a gemstone garnet but we can create our own and wear it daily in our values, character and actions. As you begin to work your way around your vision board, I pray that they align with the Almighty’s purpose in plan for you. Cheers to achieving earth shattering goals
